CLAUDIA LÓPEZ

ORCHESTRA MANAGER

Claudia López has been teaching for more than 26 years. She is currently on faculty at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey, where she serves as the Coordinator of the Early Education Area. In this institution, she has collaborated and produced several events and activities such as master classes, summer camps, courses, galas, and concerts for the conservatory as well as served as a pedagogical trainer for different cultural organizations. 

Aside from her teaching, she coordinates concerts and touring for the orchestras associated with La Superior, and also functions as the staff manager for "La Súper Orquesta" comprised of alumni of the same institution. 

 

In conjunction with her teaching career, she has retributed to her hometown Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila creating projects that motivate culture such as “Iniciación Musical Infantil” joining forces with cultural organisms and forming the first Music Band for children in that city.  

Her labor has positively impacted the musical scene in Nuevo León offering summer activities in partnership with Talentum CONARTE among others. She was part of the creation of Dánsika a project with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), one of the most prestigious universities in the country. This project was implemented in high schools to identify and foster young talents.
